magazines and instruction books in major books stores in the globe.
Taught art for the Edmonton Art Institute from 2007 to 2009 in all mediums.
The Pastel Society of America, one of the most prestigious art organizations in North America, listed him under the category of, “masterful artists.”

Johannes is considered a master painter in all the leading mediums. He has had 15,000 thousands of online students. Some of them are professionals. Johannes, an acclaimed international artist, has become one of the most popular art instructors in the world. His ample teaching and painting experience will help you overcome once and for all the traps most artists fall into that impede them from going up to the next level.

Johannes uses positive reinforcement because he believes there is no such thing as a bad painting because the moment there is a creation from a human it is beautiful because it expresses something. “Nothing is worse than a blank canvas”, he says.

Northlight published his book, “Landscape Painting Essentials” in April 2015. They labeled him as, “a master painter”. Johannes has appeared on prime time news CTV, Canada’s largest TV station. He has written articles in prestigious magazines such as, “The Artist’s Magazine” and  “International Artist”.
